Hillel Katzeff, MBA, CFP®
Hillel formed HK Financial, Inc. a financial planning firm in 1999. The mission of HK Financial is to empower people to attain financial goals by managing, protecting and growing personal wealth from generation to generation with experienced and highly personalized advice.
Hillel is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he earned his BA in Economics and Business Administration in 1982. He also earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Lubin Graduate School of Business at Pace University in New York City in 1984.
He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry including employment with The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States, Integrated Resources Equity Corporation, Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc. For the past 13 years he has built his business as a financial planner, initially with American Express Financial Advisors, then Sentra Securities Corporation a member of the AIG Advisor Group, currently with Pacific West Securities, Inc.
HK Financial is registered with the California Department of Corporations as a Registered Investment Adviser to offer consulting services on a fee basis. A General Securities Principal (Series 24) and Registered Representatives (Series 7, 63, 66) licensed by the
Financial Industry
Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Hillel is licensed to offer stocks, bonds, mutual funds and retirement plans, etc. He is also licensed in California, Colorado, Florida and New Mexico to offer life, disability, long-term care insurance and variable insurance products, etc. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) since 1992. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council.
Hillel has developed proprietary financial planning software to help his clients achieve their goals with simple, clear and easy-to-understand reports for which he has received national recognition. He has written numerous articles on several areas of financial planning.
